Style Me... Unrecognizable

I really like this outfit, again it's super comfy (are you surprised?? yeah me neither).  I am really enjoying my bangs.... I feel a little more like myself....  it's easier to style and I feel a little bit more put together.  I had a few reactions this week to them, the most common one has been not being recognized. I definitely didn't think that it changed how I looked that much.  If I had known that I was unrecognizable I would have play some tricks.... but alas I realized to late.

Jacket: H&M
Sweater: J.Crew Factory
Long sleeve T: Gap
Jeans: Gap

(Do you like my son's band poster that he made, and posted on the front door? He saw some in a window downtown and decided that he and his dad should make one.)
Shoes: Steve Madden

Style Me... Walking billboard

So from this post you'll notice two things.... 1. yes I got a hair cut (what do you think?) and 2. I really like The Gap.

Sweater: Gap (last winter)
T-shirt (under the sweater): Gap
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Converse

I told you I really like The Gap.... I am a walking billboard, haha.
As much as I have been enjoying an extended summer.... as the last two weeks have been amazing weather for this time of year.  I am happy to have some cooler weather. Sweater weather as they say.... ;)

Style Me... Interior Decorator

So I finally finished polishing up my new apartment and I wanted to share it with everyone. I love decorating and this was so much fun to have my own space to do it in. I feel all grown up with a living room and kitchen etc. Although it is still on campus, but who cares right :)
Oh and I love my eagle head book ends, I use them in the kitchen to hold up my cooking books! So cute! I got them at a local antique mall ;)

So here is the beautiful (if I don't say so myself) living space. I was thrifty and made the curtains, bought the kitchen table, coffee table, and lamp second hand. And not so thrifty and bought the couch, green chair and kitchen chairs from Ikea.

Style Me... Copy Cat...

Shirt: Joe Fresh
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: thrifted
Purse: Winners (4 years ago)

This is what I wore for mine and my husband's weekly date night! Comfy, I tell ya.... like wearing pj's (you'll notice that I have an obsession with wearing clothing that feels like pj's but doesn't look it).  I am so lucky that my parents take Bean every (well almost) Friday so that they can spend some quality time with their grandson.... this also means we get a regular date night...... it's a win, win in my book :)

Ps. I totally copied this outfit from the lovely Molly over at urban nester (click to see her post).

Style Me... Vintage

Hi Everyone!

So finally I'm doing an outfit post, my sister is going to be so happy ;) I just went to Value Village and I found this AWESOME purse!

So I got so inspired to do a cute little vintage-y outfit.

Jacket: H&M
Dress: Pins and Needles
Shoes: Steve Madden
Purse: Value Village! :D

I have a semi-presentation in one of my art classes today and I wanted to look cute for it. At my school it's pretty important to look nice most of the time. Some universities are all about the hoodie and pj pant look, but at my school you wouldn't really be able to get away with that. Which is a good... and a bad thing, it really raises the bar.

Ok so that's it from me, have a good day everyone :D

Style Me....New Favourite.

Oh I love shorts and tights..... so comfy and cute (even my husband noticed... which is rare).  I am in love, I was unsure if I could wear it... I've seen so many other people wearing shorts and tights and always liked the look.  And now that I know that I can pull it off, it might just become a staple :)

Jacket: Gap (Value Village)
Top: H&M
Shorts: H&M
Belt: American Eagle
Tights:??
Shoes: Urban Outfitters
